Fried Bananas with Cinnamon and Honey

Desperate times call for healthy snacks. Realising that in these times of COVID19 and working from home I have the tendencies to munch on each and any snack I have in the house, I decided it was time to come up with some recipes for healthier snacks if I didn´t want to grow to the size of a baby elephant soon. So this #homemadeMonday comes with a fried banana recipe which is easy to make and delicious to eat.


Ingredients

(serves two)


two bananas

a tsp honey

a tsp butter

1/2 tsp cinnamon

a pinch of sea salt


Instructions


1. Slice the banana in 1 cm thick slices while heating the butter in a pan.



2. Add the honey, cinnamon and salt to the butter until you achieve a paste.



3. Add the banana slices and fry on each side for 4 minutes. Note: Depending on how crunchy or soft you like it, adjust the time you fry them for.



4. It´s that easy! Now enjoy!
